Trent Herring, MSN, PMHNP, RN is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a uniquely broad and distinguished background in healthcare leadership, behavioral health, nursing, and patient care. With nearly two decades of experience at Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Trent has served in multiple high-level clinical and administrative roles, including Behavioral Health Director, House Supervisor, and Registered Nurse in critical care, medical-surgical, telemetry, and psychiatric settings. His career reflects a deep understanding of both the medical and emotional aspects of patient wellness.

In addition to his hospital leadership experience, Trent has served in education and community leadership roles, directing academic and behavioral support programs and mentoring multidisciplinary teams. He also served honorably in the Louisiana National Guard, bringing a lifelong foundation of discipline, service, and leadership to his work.

Trent earned his Master of Science in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University and holds multiple additional graduate degrees in education and administration.
